Join us for the second day of the Fashion Revolution Weekend!

Who or what governs what we wear? How does what we wear reflect who we are? In this workshop, we will borrow an idea from fashion hacktivist Otto von Busch and use a garment or accessory we love but somehow feel we cannot wear as inspiration for a monument to our silenced selves.

Bring with you an item of clothing you bought but somehow never wore, one you have stopped using for a long time, or maybe one that has been sitting around waiting for "just the right moment" for who knows how long. An old shirt, a new pair of shoes, a forgotten scarf: an object that once was bought in the hope of being able to show it off. Together, we will reflect on the dreams, hopes, and values we attach to clothing and the act of dressing ourselves,
building small cardboard monuments to those lost selves.

No skills required, materials provided.
Results will be optionally displayed throughout the Fashion Revolution Weekend at Mammoth - A Climate Action Cinema.
